Job Responsibilities – Store Incharge
Manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
Maintain proper stock levels of raw materials, consumables, packing materials, and finished goods.
Ensure accurate inward and outward entry of materials in the inventory system/register.
Monitor stock movement and conduct regular physical stock verification.
Maintain proper documentation of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), challans, invoices, and delivery records.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.
Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically to avoid damage, loss, or wastage.
Track reorder levels and inform management about low stock or urgent requirements.
Handle dispatch planning and ensure timely delivery of materials/products.
Supervise loading/unloading activities and monitor housekeeping in the store area.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
Manage store staff, helpers, and workers to ensure efficient operations.
Identify and minimize inventory discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock.
Support internal and external audits by providing required records and documents.
