Store Helper / Sales Assistant – Dry Fruit Store

Job Location:

Patel DryFruit Store, VIP Circle, Utran, Surat.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist customers in selecting dry fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, and healthy food items

• Weigh, pack, label, and neatly arrange products

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of store, shelves, and storage containers

• Handle billing support, cash counter assistance, and digital payments (UPI, card, cash)

• Stock checking, refilling shelves, and basic inventory support

• Follow FIFO (first-in, first-out) method for fresh stock

• Support owner in daily opening and closing activities

• Politely explain product quality, varieties, and basic benefits when asked

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills (local language + basic Hindi/English preferred)

• Polite, honest, and customer-friendly behavior

• Basic counting and weighing accuracy

• Ability to stand for long hours and lift light to medium weight bags

• Willingness to learn product knowledge

• Time management and discipline

• Knowledge Preferred (Training Can Be Provided)

• Basic knowledge of dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, dates, raisins, cashews, figs, etc.)

• Understanding of freshness, storage, and hygiene standards

• Basic awareness of healthy food benefits (optional but added advantage)

• Familiarity with digital payment methods (UPI, QR, card machine)

Working Hours

• Flexible shift options available

Experience

• Freshers welcome

• Experience in grocery, dry fruit, or retail store is a plus
