Store Helper / Sales Assistant – Dry Fruit Store

Patel DryFruit Store, VIP Circle, Utran, Surat.

Job Responsibilities :

Assist customers in selecting dry fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, and healthy food items
Weigh, pack, label, and neatly arrange products
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of store, shelves, and storage containers
Handle billing support, cash counter assistance, and digital payments (UPI, card, cash)
Stock checking, refilling shelves, and basic inventory support
Follow FIFO (first-in, first-out) method for fresh stock
Support owner in daily opening and closing activities
Politely explain product quality, varieties, and basic benefits when asked

Required Skills:

Good communication skills (local language + basic Hindi/English preferred)
Polite, honest, and customer-friendly behavior
Basic counting and weighing accuracy
Ability to stand for long hours and lift light to medium weight bags
Willingness to learn product knowledge
Time management and discipline
Knowledge Preferred (Training Can Be Provided)
Basic knowledge of dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, dates, raisins, cashews, figs, etc.)
Understanding of freshness, storage, and hygiene standards
Basic awareness of healthy food benefits (optional but added advantage)
Familiarity with digital payment methods (UPI, QR, card machine)
