Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock records (inward & outward)
Monitor stock levels and avoid shortage or overstock
Conduct regular physical stock verification

2. Goods Receiving & Dispatch

Check incoming materials (quantity & quality)
Ensure proper documentation (GRN, invoices, challans)
Coordinate timely dispatch of materials

3. Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain proper records in Excel or inventory software
Update daily stock reports
Keep all store-related documents organized

4. Coordination

Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts departments
Communicate with suppliers for material issues
Support smooth workflow between departments

5. Store Organization

Ensure proper storage of materials
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) method
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store

6. Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
Report stock discrepancies to management
Track damaged or expired goods

7. Compliance & Safety

Follow company policies and procedures
Ensure safety standards are maintained in the store

Optional Skills Required

Basic knowledge of MS Excel
Good organizational skills
Attention to detail
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
