About the Role

As a Dark Store Associate at a Zepto facility, you will be at the heart of the quick commerce revolution. Zepto operates on a strict 10-minute delivery model, which means speed, accuracy, and efficiency are critical. You will be responsible for the end-to-end handling of inventory within the dark store—from receiving new stock to picking and packing customer orders in record time. Please note: You will be an official employee of The Ignition Point Pvt Ltd, deployed at the Zepto client site.

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking: Quickly and accurately locate items in the dark store using a handheld scanner or smartphone app as soon as an order is received.

Packaging: Securely pack groceries and daily essentials into delivery bags, ensuring that fragile items are protected and the order is 100% accurate before handing it over to the delivery partner.

Inwarding & Putaway: Receive new inventory shipments, verify quantities, and place items in their correct, designated bins or shelves within the store.

Store Rearrangement & Inventory Management: Continuously organize shelves, conduct routine stock checks, and remove damaged or expired products. Ensure the store layout remains optimized for fast picking.

Quality & Speed Compliance: Meet strict Turnaround Time (TAT) targets for picking and packing to support the 10-minute delivery promise, while maintaining a zero-error mindset.

Safety & Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety and hygiene protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum 10th or 12th standard pass.

Experience: Fresher or 0-1 year of experience (experience in a warehouse, retail store, or quick commerce platform like Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, or Zepto is a plus).

Technical Skills: Comfortable using a smartphone, handheld scanner, and basic inventory apps. Ability to read basic English (to identify product names and brands).

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items for extended periods in a highly fast-paced environment.

Availability: Must be willing to work rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by store operations.
