Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Handling

   • Receive incoming materials and verify quantity & quality against purchase orders.

   • Properly store materials in designated locations with correct labeling.

   • Issue materials to production or other departments as per requisitions.

2. Stock Management

   • Maintain updated stock records in register or ERP system.

   • Conduct periodic physical stock verification.

   • Report any stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Store Incharge.

3. Documentation

   • Prepare goods receipt notes (GRN), issue slips, and other required documents.

   • Maintain inward/outward material register.

   • Assist in preparing monthly stock reports.

4. Housekeeping & Safety

   • Keep the store clean, organized, and free from hazards.

   • Follow safety guidelines while handling materials and equipment.

5. Coordination

   • Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and production departments for smooth material flow.

   • Assist in arranging and dispatching goods as per orders.
