Job description for the position of Store Associate

Job Title: Store Associate
Location: Mysore, Karnataka
Department: Inventory / Warehouse
Reporting To: Store Manager / Operations Head

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Associate to manage the day-to-day operations of our inventory in a busy tools and machinery retail and wholesale store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper stock records, handling stock movements, and ensuring the store is well-organized to support efficient customer service and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming tools, machinery, and parts.

• Issue materials and products to sales and service departments as per requisition.

• Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock counts.

• Label and arrange items in the store for easy identification and retrieval.

• Monitor stock levels and inform the purchase department when reordering is required.

• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the storage area.

• Coordinate with sales and service teams for smooth material flow.

• Handle documentation like Goods Received Notes (GRNs), stock issue slips, etc.

• Prevent stock damage, pilferage, or loss through proper storage practices.

• Assist in annual and periodic audits.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in any field

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift moderate weights and handle machinery parts.

• Knowledge of tools and industrial machinery is an added advantage.

• Ability to work in a team and follow processes.

Preferred Qualification

• PUC / Diploma / ITI / Graduate in any discipline

• Training or background in store management or inventory control preferred

ನಮ್ಮ ಟೂಲ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯಂತ್ರೋಪಕರಣಗಳ ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹೊರುವ ಸ್ಟೋರ್ ಕೀಪರ್ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ಸ್ವೀಕರಣೆ, ಜಾಗಚ್ಯುತಿ, ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದಾಖಲೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಂಗಡಿಯ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಇನ್ವೆಂಟರಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಈ ಹುದ್ದೆಯವರು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳು

• ನವीन ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳ ಸ್ವೀಕರಣ, ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಖಲೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು

• ಇತರ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ (ಮಾರಾಟ, ಸೇವೆ) ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸುವುದು

• ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ

• ಸರಿಯಾದವಾಗಿ ಲೇಬಲ್ ಹಾಕಿ, ಸರಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು

• ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ಮಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ, ಖರೀದಿ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡುವುದು

• ಗೋದಾಮಿನ ಶುದ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದು

• ಮಾರಾಟ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ ತಂಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ

• GRN (Goods Received Note), issue slips ಮುಂತಾದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ

• ಸರಕು ಹಾನಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕಳವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ

ಅರ್ಹತೆಗಳು

• ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 2–3 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅನುಭವ ಸ್ಟೋರ್ ಅಥವಾ ಗೋದಾಮು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಟೂಲ್ಸ್/ಮಷೀನುಗಳು ಆದ್ಯತೆ)

• ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾದ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಶಕ್ತಿ

• ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಭಾರವಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಇಡುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ

• ಟೂಲ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರಿಯಲ್ ಮಷೀನರಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ

• ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಯಮ ಪಾಲನೆ
