1. Customer Service & Engagement:
* Greet and welcome all customers entering the showroom in a warm and professional manner.
* Actively listen to customers' needs and inquiries to provide appropriate assistance and product information.
* Guide customers through the showroom, showcasing products and highlighting key features and benefits.
* Answer phone calls and respond to emails and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously.
* Schedule appointments for customers with sales consultants or designers.
2. Sales Support:
* Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing quotations, sales orders, and invoices.
* Process customer transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) database with accurate information.
* Follow up with customers on inquiries, quotes, and order statuses as directed.
3. Showroom Presentation & Maintenance:
* Ensure the showroom is clean, tidy, and impeccably presented at all times.
* Assist with visual merchandising, including arranging product displays, updating signage, and implementing promotional setups.
* Ensure all products are correctly priced and labelled.
* Restock product catalogues, brochures, samples, and other marketing materials.
* Monitor inventory levels of showroom items and report any shortages or damages.
4. Administrative Duties:
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains professional and organized.
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
* Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and ordering supplies for the showroom.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
* Proven experience in a customer service, retail, or sales support role.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email.
* A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
