Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to manage our retail showroom operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional service to our walk-in customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in garment retail, a strong understanding of fashion trends, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. This role requires a proactive, sales-driven individual who can lead by example and contribute to the showroom's revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales: Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom, understand their preferences, and provide personalized product recommendations to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product range – including fabrics, fits, styles, and seasonal collections – to confidently address customer queries and offer styling advice.
Visual Merchandising: Ensure the showroom is well-organized, visually appealing, and stocked appropriately. Coordinate with the team to maintain display standards that attract and engage customers.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with the inventory team for replenishment, and assist in conducting regular stock audits to minimize discrepancies.
Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets. Develop strategies to upsell and cross-sell products effectively.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers. Handle customer grievances professionally and ensure timely resolution.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other showroom staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. A degree/diploma in Fashion, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in showroom sales, specifically in the garment/apparel retail sector.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of garment fabrics, sizing, fashion trends, and customer buying behavior in the retail apparel space.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills in Hindi and English, with the ability to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting sales targets with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge of billing software, inventory management systems, and MS Office.
Personal Attributes: Presentable, confident, customer-centric, and highly motivated. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
