Job Title: Showroom Sales Consultant – Automotive

Job Summary

The Showroom Sales Consultant is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and recommending suitable car models. This role involves guiding customers through the sales process, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating prices, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Welcome customers to the showroom and identify their needs.

• Build rapport and maintain a professional, friendly attitude at all times.

• Provide detailed information on vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing options.

Sales Process

• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds, product demonstrations, and test drives.

• Present and explain available car models, trims, accessories, and promotional offers.

• Negotiate pricing and payments within company guidelines.

• Prepare and complete sales contracts and required documentation.

• Coordinate with the finance team for loan approvals and payment arrangements.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle models, features, technology, warranties, and after-sales services.

• Stay informed about competitor products and market trends.

Customer Experience

• Follow up with potential and existing customers to build long-term relationships.

• Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.

• Assist customers with after-sales inquiries and coordinate with service departments when needed.

Reporting & Compliance

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

• Comply with company policies, ethical standards, and professional sales practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales or a customer-facing retail role.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

• Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills.

• Good understanding of financing, leasing, and insurance options.

• Valid driver’s license (required).
