Shop Keeper

Role Overview

The Shop Executive will be responsible for independently handling daily shop operations, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate billing, product display, cleanliness, and coordination with the factory for timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop operations including opening & closing of the shop.

• Handle customer inquiries, take orders, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with the factory team for routine and customized orders.

• Manage billing, cash handling, and petty expenses accurately.

• Ensure proper display of cakes and maintain product freshness.

• Maintain stock of packing material and coordinate for replenishment.

• Keep the shop clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times.

• Ensure timely delivery for customer pick-up and home delivery orders.

• Handle small grievances of staff/customers politely and escalate when required.

• Maintain daily sales and petty cash record and report to management.

• Support marketing activities like promotions, offers, and festival sales.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 25+ preferred.

• Computer knowledge is a must (billing, ERP, basic MS Office).

• Previous experience in retail shop handling is an added advantage.

• Strong communication, polite behavior, and customer-friendly attitude.

• Ability to work long shifts and handle peak rush hours.

• Basic knowledge of cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards.
