About Role:

The Shift Manager is responsible for supervising daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, team performance, and operational efficiency. In the context of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, this role requires a hands-on leader who can manage team schedules, maintain food quality and hygiene standards, and meet sales targets. The Shift Manager also plays a key role in training staff, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring smooth coordination with delivery partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

● Shift Operations Management:

Oversee restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.

● Team Supervision:

Manage team members, assign responsibilities, provide on-shift training, and monitor performance.

● Customer Service Excellence:

Ensure exceptional guest experiences, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain service quality.

● Inventory & Stock Checks:

Monitor stock levels, support inventory audits, and ensure proper usage of resources during the shift.

● Order Fulfilment & Aggregator Coordination:

Ensure smooth execution of dine-in, takeaway, and online aggregator orders during the shift.

● Cash Handling & Reporting:

Manage daily cash transactions, billing processes, and reconcile shift-wise financial reports.

● Training & Development:

Support onboarding and continuous training of new team members during the shift. Provide staff mentoring to improve service consistency and efficiency.

● Compliance Monitoring:

Ensure all legal, safety, and company guidelines are followed strictly during the shift.

● Shift Handover:

Maintain proper handover notes and communication for the next shift.

● Sales Targets:

Work towards achieving daily targets and improving shift productivity. Track sales performance and suggest ideas for improvement.

● Additional Responsibilities:

❖ Design and manage weekly shift rosters to ensure optimal staff coverage and efficiency.

❖ Support overall operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement and executing corrective measures.

❖ Actively manage and enhance customer experience during peak hours.

❖ Address on-floor operational issues and resolve them promptly to avoid service disruption.

Candidate Must Have:

● 3–4 years of relevant experience in the QSR, Restaurant, or Hospitality industry

● Strong interpersonal and team management skills

● Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks

● Experience in shift operations, customer handling, and team leadership

● Knowledge of POS systems, hygiene protocols, and inventory control

Commitment:

● 6 days working (Rotational off)

● Rotational Shifts (Timing to be decided by Operations Manager)
