The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete service operations of the automobile dealership. This includes managing workshop activities, service advisors, technicians, customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and ensuring smooth daily operations as per company standards.
Manage daily workshop operations efficiently.
Ensure timely vehicle delivery as per promised timelines.
Monitor job cards, work progress, and quality control.
Maintain workshop discipline and cleanliness.
Lead and supervise Service Advisors, Technicians, Floor Supervisors, and Support Staff.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Provide training and guidance to improve productivity and technical skills.
Ensure proper manpower planning and duty allocation.
Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally.
Ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
Maintain strong customer relationships and follow-up on feedback.
Achieve monthly service revenue targets (labour + parts).
Monitor labour efficiency and productivity.
Promote value-added services, AMC packages, and accessories.
Control expenses and improve profitability.
Ensure proper job card documentation and billing accuracy.
Maintain service records, warranty claims, and audit compliance.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.
Coordinate with Parts Department for availability of spare parts.
Monitor slow-moving and non-moving parts.
Ensure minimum vehicle downtime due to parts shortage.
