Balwom Textiles India is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and knowledgeable Salesman to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fabrics, garments, ethnic wear, and customer preferences. The candidate must be capable of assisting customers, recommending suitable products, achieving sales targets, and delivering an excellent shopping experience.
1. Customer Handling & Sales
Greet and assist customers professionally.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
Demonstrate Suit, fabrics, and other textile products effectively.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Convert walk-in customers into successful sales.
2. Product Knowledge
Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, designs, fabrics, and pricing.
Explain product features, quality, and benefits to customers.
Stay updated on new arrivals and promotional offers.
3. Visual Merchandising
Ensure proper display of products in the showroom.
Arrange merchandise neatly and attractively.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the sales area.
4. Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service and shopping experience.
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
5. Inventory & Stock Support
Monitor product availability on the sales floor.
Assist in stock counting and inventory management.
Report low stock or damaged items to the supervisor.
6. Reporting & Compliance
Submit daily sales reports to the reporting manager.
Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Follow company policies, procedures, and showroom discipline.
Key Requirements
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Textile, Saree, Garments, Apparel, or Retail Sales preferred.
Strong customer handling and selling skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
