Sales Staff (In Shop)

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at ANBU STORES. The primary responsibility is to assist retail customers, maintain product displays, manage inventory shelves, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for daily groceries, fresh produce, and household essentials

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet shoppers, assist them in finding items across various categories (groceries, fruits/vegetables, daily essentials), and answer product inquiries.

• Shelf Stocking & Maintenance: Keep store shelves, refrigerators, and product displays clean, fully stocked, and neatly organized. Regularly inspect freshness dates for dairy, produce, and packaged goods.

• Order Processing & Home Delivery: Assist with packing orders placed via WhatsApp and phone for local neighborhood delivery.

• Billing & Counter Support: Support the billing counter during peak hours, ensuring smooth checkout and handling digital payment modes like Google Pay.

• Store Upkeep: Maintain overall store cleanliness and follow opening/closing routines according to store operating hours.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Secondary school completion (10th/12th standard preferred).

• Experience: Prior experience in a supermarket, retail outlet, or grocery store is preferred, but freshers with good communication skills are welcome.

• Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil is required; basic conversational English or Hindi is a plus.

• Skills: Strong communication, basic math for handling weight/pricing, physical stamina to manage stock, and a helpful attitude.

• It is a Both Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with Freshers.
