Job Description: Team Leader – Ethnicity (MBOs)

Role Overview

Fabrika Fashion and Lifestyle is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Team Leader – Ethnicity to oversee our Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) across both Pune and Mumbai. Building on a highly structured operations model, the ideal candidate will lead store teams, manage inventory logistics, and drive sales growth across a total of 7+ ethnicity stores.

This role requires a leader who is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable balancing regular field visits between Pune and Mumbai to ensure brand standards and sales targets are met across both regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Communication

Bi-Weekly Conferences: Lead mandatory team alignment meetings every Monday and Friday at 10:00 AM to set weekly targets, review performance, and address operational bottlenecks.

Staff Management: Actively engage with on-floor staff to monitor daily attendance, motivation, and adherence to Fabrika’s customer service standards.

2. Operational Reporting & Tracking

Daily Sales & Stock Reports: Compile and submit comprehensive daily reports for all 7 multi-brand outlets twice a day—by 4:00 PM (mid-day status) and 8:00 PM (EOD close).

Auditing: Routinely verify stock levels and sales figures directly with store staff to ensure zero inventory discrepancies.

3. Sales Boosting & Inventory Management

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Ethnicity core team and regional managers to design and execute sales-boosting initiatives.

Inter-Stock Transfers (IST): Monitor stock aging and velocity across stores; orchestrate smart inter-stock transfers to ensure high-demand products are always available where they sell best.

4. Territory Management & Store Visits

Dual-City Coverage: Manage store footprints in both Pune and Mumbai.

Mandatory Field Visits: Ensure a physical visit to every single store under your purview at least once a month to audit visual merchandising, stock health, and team performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in ethnic wear or multi-brand outlets (MBOs). Prior experience as a Team Leader or Senior Store Manager is required.

Location & Travel: Based out of Pune (PMC area preferred) but must be completely open to regular travel to Mumbai for store visits and audits.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in retail KPIs, stock management, and Excel/reporting tools.

Excellent communication skills for leading team calls and reporting to upper management.

Ability to work under tight daily deadlines (4:00 PM and 8:00 PM reporting windows).
