Sales Executive

Chetan Dryfruit is looking for a Sales Executive to join our retail team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable products, handling sales and ensuring an excellent shopping experience.

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Experience in retail, FMCG, sweets, dry fruits, bakery, farsan or food retail will be an advantage.

Job Location: Vasai / Virar / Nalasopara

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their product requirements.

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.

• Explain product varieties, pricing, offers and promotions to customers.

• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

• Promote upselling and cross-selling of products.

• Handle customer queries and provide excellent customer service.

• Assist with billing, packing and order processing when required.

• Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled and arranged.

• Keep shelves and counters well-stocked and presentable.

• Check product freshness, packaging and expiry dates.

• Assist with stock counting and inventory-related activities.

• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when required.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sales area.

• Assist with online orders and delivery-platform orders when required.

• Follow store SOPs, company policies and instructions from the Store Manager.

• Support the team during busy hours, festivals and promotional periods.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 1–3 years in retail/sales preferred.

• Freshers with good communication and a willingness to learn can also be considered.

• Experience in FMCG, food retail, sweets, dry fruits, bakery, farsan or supermarket will be preferred.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team.

• Basic understanding of sales and customer service.

• Comfortable handling billing/POS systems.

• Should be energetic, presentable and customer-focused.

• Candidates residing in Vasai, Virar, Nalasopara or nearby areas will be preferred.

• It is a Both Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
