Job Title: Retail Sales Officer – Gems & Jewelry

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and sales-driven Senior Retail Sales Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, proven sales experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service—especially in the luxury sector. Candidates with prior experience in the gems and jewelry industry or who have worked in jewelry retail will be given high preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales of branded gold and diamond-studded jewelry.

Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Meet individual and store sales targets consistently.

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales reports (Sales MIS).

Actively participate in customer loyalty programs and in-store promotional activities.

Ensure proper upkeep and cleanliness of the store.

Oversee and manage inventory levels effectively.

Deliver high standards of professional and consistent customer service at all times.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong sales orientation and the ability to convince and close sales.

Ability to build rapport with customers and provide personalized service.

Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

A team player with good organizational and coordination skills.

Customer-first attitude with a strong understanding of luxury retail dynamics.

Preferred Background:

Candidates with prior experience in the gems and jewelry industry or jewelry retail will be strongly preferred.

Experience in high-value product sales (e.g., luxury goods, watches, fashion) is also an advantage.
