Position Overview

The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, optimizing store onboarding ,. The Retail Sales Manager acts as a companys brand ambassador to the retail segment and showcases companies software solutions to retailers for enhancing their decision making capacity and automation of payment systems with company policies and brand values in consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify, target, and secure new corporate clients across relevant markets.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

Customer Service Excellence

Ensure high-quality customer service standards are delivered consistently.

Resolve customer concerns and handle escalations promptly and professionally.

Reporting & Administration

Prepare sales reports, performance analyses, and staffing updates.

Manage store budgets, expenses, and cash-handling procedures.

Use retail management systems and POS tools to track performance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred but not always required).

Experience

· 1-3 years of experience in retail sales or store management.

· Proven success in meeting sales goals and leading retail teams.

· Experience in specific retail sector (optional) is an advantage.

Core Skills

· Strong leadership and people-management abilities.

· Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.

· Sales-driven mindset with strong analytical and organizational skills.

· Knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, and merchandising.
