Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Associate to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and contributing to a positive and engaging store environment. This role requires a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers.
Core Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge: Demonstrating and providing comprehensive information about promoted products or services to customers. This includes features, benefits, and usage.
Customer Engagement: Interacting with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, initiating conversations, understanding their needs and wants, and building rapport.
Product Demonstration: Showing customers how products work, highlighting key features, and answering any questions they may have.
Sales Generation: Actively promoting products with the goal of increasing sales and meeting or exceeding sales targets. This often involves persuasive communication and highlighting the value proposition.
Promotional Activities: Setting up and maintaining attractive promotional displays, stands, or booths. This may also involve distributing samples, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.
Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by assisting with product selection, addressing queries, and resolving issues promptly.
Feedback Collection: Gathering customer feedback on products and promotions and reporting this information to management or product development teams.
Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of promotional products and informing relevant personnel of any shortages.
Reporting: Preparing reports on demonstration-related information, such as customer interest levels, questions asked, the number of samples distributed, and sales achieved.
Brand Representation: Embodying the brand's values and maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Collaboration: Working closely with store staff, managers, and marketing teams to align promotional strategies with overall business objectives.
Event Management (sometimes): Planning and managing or participating in in-store events and roadshows to promote products.
Transaction Processing (sometimes): Assisting with processing customer payments and recording sales.
