We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Furniture Sales Specialist to manage and grow our revenue across both retail consumers (B2C) and commercial clients (B2B). In this role, you will act as a design and product consultant, helping individual homeowners select retail furniture while simultaneously prospecting and securing bulk commercial contracts with corporate offices, interior designers, hospitality venues, and real estate developers.
B2C Retail Sales (Direct to Consumer)
Maximize floor sales by welcoming walk-in showroom customers and identifying their home furnishing needs.
Provide design consultations, suggesting color palettes, space-saving layouts, and material configurations.
Close retail deals by handling objections, upselling warranties, and offering financing options.
Coordinate deliveries with the logistics team to ensure flawless white-glove setup at residential properties.
B2B Commercial Sales (Business to Business)
Prospect new clients including interior designers, architects, contractors, office managers, and hospitality buyers.
Generate custom quotes and prepare detailed RFP (Request for Proposal) responses for bulk furniture orders.
Manage corporate accounts by maintaining long-term relationships for ongoing workspace refurnishing projects.
Conduct site visits to measure spaces and present tailored product pitches to corporate decision-makers.
Operations & Merchandising
Maintain showroom visual aesthetics, ensuring furniture displays are immaculate, priced correctly, and tagged.
Track inventory levels using the ERP/CRM system to ensure product availability for large orders.
Process payments accurately using POS systems and manage invoicing for B2B credit terms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in furniture retail sales, luxury retail, or corporate B2B sales.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of furniture materials (hardwoods, veneers, fabrics, leathers) and manufacturing terminology.
Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), POS software, and basic space-planning tools (e.g., 2D/3D floor planners, AutoCAD layout viewers).
Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand on the showroom floor for extended periods and assist in moving light display items.
