Sales Associate – Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

1. Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.

• Provide knowledgeable assistance and product recommendations.

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

2. Sales Generation

• Achieve individual and store sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly).

• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue per transaction.

• Maintain product knowledge to effectively drive sales.

• Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) terminal.

3. Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on new arrivals, features, and promotions.

• Understand competitor offerings to confidently position your brand/products.

4. Store Operations

• Assist with stock replenishment, labeling, and inventory management.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and display areas.

• Follow opening and closing procedures accurately.

• Ensure security measures are followed for inventory and store premises.
