Retail Sales Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for hardworking and active candidates for our fabric shop and warehouse in Nehru Place. This is an entry-level role where the candidate will start by supporting daily shop and warehouse operations and gradually learn fabric sales through on-the-job training.

The role includes physical work such as folding fabrics, lifting and carrying goods, unloading vehicles, packing orders, cutting fabrics from thaan/rolls, arranging stock in racks, cleaning and sorting fabrics, finding fabrics as per requirement, and supporting customers and sales staff.

Candidates who are sincere, disciplined and willing to learn can grow into a proper fabric salesman role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fold, arrange, sort and maintain fabrics properly in the shop and warehouse.

- Lift, carry and move fabric rolls, bundles and packed goods between shop, warehouse and vehicles.

- Unload goods from tempo/cargo vehicles and shift them safely to the warehouse or shop.

- Pack customer orders and prepare goods for dispatch.

- Cut fabrics from thaan/roll as per customer order or team instruction.

- Search and locate fabrics in shop and warehouse as per customer or sales team requirement.

- Put fabrics back in proper racks after showing, cutting, checking or selling.

- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of fabrics, racks and work areas.

- Support sales staff in showing fabrics to customers.

- Assist customers in finding suitable fabrics under the guidance of senior staff.

- Learn fabric qualities, colours, designs, measurements and basic customer handling.

- Gradually handle customer sales independently after training and experience.

- Follow instructions of seniors and complete daily operational tasks on time.

Candidate Profile:

- Hardworking, active and physically fit.

- Comfortable with lifting, carrying, folding, cutting, packing and unloading fabrics.

- Willing to work in both shop and warehouse environments.

- Disciplined, punctual and sincere.

- Good basic understanding of numbers and measurements.

- Able to follow instructions properly.

- Basic communication skills required.

- Willing to learn fabric sales and customer handling.

- Freshers can apply.

- Experience in fabric, garments, retail shop, warehouse, packing, loading/unloading or sales support will be preferred.

Education:

Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred.

Freshers and candidates with practical work experience can also apply.

Skills Required:

- Physical fitness and energy for shop/warehouse work.

- Basic counting and measurement understanding.

- Ability to handle fabric rolls and packed goods carefully.

- Good memory for locating fabrics and stock.

- Basic customer handling skills.

- Teamwork and discipline.

- Willingness to learn and grow.
