Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and customer-friendly Retail Associate to handle customers visiting the store for jewellery purchase and Cash for Gold transactions. Freshers are welcome. The candidate will be trained in gold jewellery handling, purity evaluation processes, customer documentation, and purchase procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers visiting the store for gold jewellery selling/purchase.

• Understand customer requirements and explain the Cash for Gold / jewellery purchase process.

• Receive and carefully handle gold jewellery/items submitted by customers for evaluation.

• Assist senior staff in checking gold weight, purity, and quality using the company's prescribed process.

• Explain the valuation and purchase amount clearly and professionally to customers.

• Prepare and maintain customer and transaction records as per company procedures.

• Assist with documentation and verification required for gold purchase transactions.

• Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally.

• Maintain accurate records of jewellery received, evaluated, and purchased.

• Ensure proper handling, tagging, packing, and safekeeping of jewellery/items.

• Follow all company policies, security procedures, and compliance requirements.

• Support day-to-day retail store operations and maintain a clean and professional counter.

Requirements

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Minimum 12th pass

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of jewellery/gold is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Comfortable working with numbers, weights, and basic calculations.

• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.

• Willingness to learn gold valuation and jewellery purchase processes.

• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

• Ability to work in a customer-facing and target-oriented environment.

• It is a Full Time Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
