Position Title: Regional Sales Head

Reports to: National Sales Head / Business Head
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Head with proven expertise in General Trade and/or Modern Trade within the FMCG industry. The role will be responsible for driving sales, building strong distributor/retailer networks, managing key accounts, and ensuring market share growth across the assigned region.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive General Trade and Modern Trade channels to achieve revenue and volume targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners.
Ensure effective route-to-market execution and distribution expansion.
Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers / Sales Officers.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
Manage trade promotions, merchandising, and visibility initiatives at the regional level.
Drive efficiency in secondary sales, stock management, and credit control.
Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to support business objectives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical standards.
Graduate/MBA in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
8–12 years of sales experience in FMCG industry (experience with companies like Hindustan Unilever, Diversey, Reckitt, Nestlé, etc. preferred).
Strong expertise in General Trade (GT) and/or Modern Trade (MT) channel management.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market share growth.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel extensively within the region.
