Negotiation & Orders: Negotiate contract terms, payment schedules, and prices. Create and issue official Purchase Orders (POs).
Tracking & Delivery: Follow up with vendors to make sure goods arrive on time and fix any delays or shortages.
Invoice Verification: Check supplier bills and delivery notes against purchase orders before sending them to accounts for payment.
Stores & Inventory Management
Material Receipt (GRN): Inspect incoming goods and create Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in the system.
Storage & Organization: Store materials safely in the warehouse. Use standard inventory methods like FIFO (First In, First Out).
Stock Control: Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent running out of items or holding too much stock.
Record Keeping: Maintain physical bin cards, stock statements, and digital logs in ERP or inventory software
