Job Summary
The Food Retail Counter Sales Executive is responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting and selling food products, handling billing and cash transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards at the retail counter.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable food products.
Promote daily specials, combo meals, and add-on products to increase sales.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle billing through the POS system and collect cash, card, UPI, or digital payments.
Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain attractive product displays and ensure shelves and counters are well-stocked.
Monitor product freshness and expiry dates; remove expired or damaged products.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Coordinate with the kitchen and production team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
Maintain cleanliness of the counter, display area, and dining area.
Support inventory counting and stock replenishment.
Achieve daily sales targets and contribute to outlet revenue growth.
