The Floor Associate is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the shop floor by maintaining product availability, assisting customers, managing inventory displays, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards in the grocery store.
Assist customers in locating products and answering basic queries
Ensure shelves are properly stocked, faced, and replenished
Check product quality, expiry dates, and remove damaged or expired items
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of assigned aisles and display areas
Arrange products as per planogram and promotional guidelines
Coordinate with the stockroom team for replenishment of goods
Handle price labeling and ensure accuracy of price tags
Support billing counter operations when required
Follow store policies, safety procedures, and hygiene standards
Report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors
