Are you always following the latest trends in eyewear, and are you fascinated with the way corrective lenses work or the optical industry? If so, we may have the right job for you as an optician in our expanding optical division. The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering quality optical care and outstanding and friendly customer service. You must be able to assist patients with eyeglasses fittings, eyewear recommendations and other optical dispensing. You must also possess strong sales skills by demonstrating a high level of knowledge about our products and determining our patients’ needs for eyewear so you can recommend specific accessories or enhancements for glasses. Moreover, each eyepiece in store is of utmost importance to us and has to be treated with care and handled well.

Job Responsibilities

• Handles counter sales. Optician dispensing spectacles, lenses and sunglasses. Work in the optical store

• Technical Knowledge needed

• Use prescription information from the doctor and the patient’s preferences, face shape and other factors to help select the appropriate pair of eyeglasses, frames and lenses.

• Give the patient product recommendations based on their vision needs and lifestyle, such as frame selection, lens material and various coatings.

• Take accurate measurements/centeration of each patient’s face and optical details to ensure a comfortable and proper fit.

• Maintain a clean and visually appealing daily optical display by organizing the stock of eyeglasses, sunglasses and accessories.

• Complete additional office tasks regularly such as preparing paperwork for patient payments, ordering inventory, sales updates, service updates and tracking orders in the system.

• Should know how to send and receive emails, use WhatsApp and basic in Excel/other technology is necessary.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Local / Karnataka candidate preferable

• Graduate or equivalent

• Should know how to send and receive emails, use whatsapp and basic knowledge of Excel/other technology is necessary. Basic computer literacy required.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Languages : Kannada, English and Hindi

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Retail Optician counter sales

• Job Type: Work from store

• Location : No 84, NR Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560002

• Work Timings: 10.30 AM to 7 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Joining Date: Immediate

• It is a Full Time Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
