Counter Sales Person

Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRA)

1. Customer Handling: Greet customers politely, understand their requirements and suggest suitable cakes, pastries and bakery products.

2. Sales & Upselling: Promote products, encourage additional purchases and achieve daily/monthly sales targets.

3. Billing & Cash Handling: Prepare customer bills, handle cash/UPI payments and maintain billing accuracy.

4. Product Display: Keep cakes, pastries, patties and other bakery products properly arranged and attractively displayed.

5. Product Freshness: Check manufacturing dates, expiry dates, product quality and freshness; report damaged or expired products immediately.

6. Stock Management: Monitor daily stock, maintain stock records and inform the Store In-Charge about low stock and replenishment requirements.

7. Order Management: Accept customer orders, confirm product details and coordinate timely delivery or pickup.

8. Store Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of the sales counter, display cabinets, shelves and customer area.

9. Customer Complaints: Handle customer queries politely and report complaints or product-related issues to the Store In-Charge.

10. Daily Reporting: Maintain sales, billing, stock and wastage records as instructed by management.

11. Discipline: Follow duty timings, grooming standards, attendance rules and company policies.

12. Team Coordination: Coordinate with the Store In-Charge, Dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth store operations.

4. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10th pass; 12th pass preferred.

• Previous experience in retail sales, cake shops or bakery stores will be an advantage.

• Basic communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of cash handling, UPI payments and billing.

• Honest, punctual, polite and customer-focused.

• Ability to stand and work at the sales counter for extended periods.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and festivals, as per the duty roster.

  1. ग्राहक सेवा: ग्राहकों का विनम्रता से स्वागत करना और उनकी जरूरत के अनुसार केक, पेस्ट्री एवं अन्य बेकरी उत्पाद सुझाना।

  2. बिक्री बढ़ाना: ग्राहकों को उत्पादों की जानकारी देना, अतिरिक्त खरीदारी के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना और बिक्री का लक्ष्य पूरा करना।

  3. बिलिंग एवं कैश हैंडलिंग: सही बिल बनाना तथा नकद और UPI भुगतान को सही तरीके से संभालना।

  4. प्रोडक्ट डिस्प्ले: केक, पेस्ट्री, पैटीज एवं अन्य उत्पादों को सही तरीके से सजाकर रखना।

  5. उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता: उत्पादों की ताजगी, निर्माण तिथि और एक्सपायरी डेट चेक करना। खराब या एक्सपायरी उत्पाद मिलने पर तुरंत सूचना देना।

  6. स्टॉक मैनेजमेंट: प्रतिदिन स्टॉक की जाँच करना, स्टॉक रिकॉर्ड रखना और कम स्टॉक होने पर स्टोर इंचार्ज को सूचित करना।

  7. ऑर्डर मैनेजमेंट: ग्राहकों के ऑर्डर लेना, सही जानकारी दर्ज करना और समय पर पिकअप या डिलीवरी के लिए संबंधित टीम से समन्वय करना।

  8. साफ-सफाई: सेल्स काउंटर, डिस्प्ले कैबिनेट, शेल्फ और ग्राहक क्षेत्र को साफ रखना।

  9. शिकायतों का समाधान: ग्राहकों की समस्याओं को विनम्रता से सुनना और आवश्यकता पड़ने पर स्टोर इंचार्ज को बताना।

  10. दैनिक रिपोर्टिंग: बिक्री, बिलिंग, स्टॉक और वेस्टेज का रिकॉर्ड रखना।

  11. अनुशासन: समय पर ड्यूटी पर आना, निर्धारित ड्रेसिंग एवं ग्रूमिंग स्टैंडर्ड का पालन करना और कंपनी के नियमों का पालन करना।

  12. टीमवर्क: स्टोर इंचार्ज, डिस्पैच और अन्य कर्मचारियों के साथ मिलकर स्टोर का काम सुचारू रूप से चलाना।
