Important Roles & Responsibilities – Counter Sales Executive
Attend walk-in customers professionally and understand their requirements.
Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability.
Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and cash/credit bills.
Promote and upsell products based on customer needs.
Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely material availability and delivery.
Maintain the display and cleanliness of the sales counter.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns courteously.
Maintain daily sales records and submit reports to the reporting manager.
Ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation (where applicable).
Coordinate with the Accounts Department for payment follow-ups.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Maintain proper stock knowledge and update customers on new products and offers.
Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines at all times.
