Counter Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Welcome shoppers warmly, understand their requirements, and provide expert guidance on product features, pricing, and availability.

• Sales & Conversion: Drive counter sales, cross-sell and up-sell complementary products, and actively promote ongoing discounts, offers, or loyalty programs to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

• Billing & Transactions: Accurately process cash, card, and digital/UPI transactions using the POS billing system while maintaining transparent cash handling.

• Merchandising & Inventory: Ensure shelves, display racks, and counters are clean, well-stocked, and organized. Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs to the store manager.

• Customer Support & Service: Handle customer queries, manage returns or exchanges professionally, and ensure all after-sales commitments are met.

• Team Coordination: Collaborate with inventory and floor teams to ensure smooth store operations and share valuable customer feedback with management.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 0 to 2 years of retail sales, counter sales, or customer service experience (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome to apply).

• Education: Minimum High School Diploma (12th Pass) or equivalent degree.

• Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer-first mindset with a persuasive and positive attitude.

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS billing or retail software.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

• It is a Full Time Retail / Counter Sales job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
