Job Summary:
The Counter Sales Executive at TBZ is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and representing the TBZ brand with professionalism and expertise. This role involves assisting customers in selecting exquisite jewelry pieces, building strong and lasting customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success and reputation of the showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Excellence:
Greet and welcome customers to the showroom in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and occasions.
Provide detailed and accurate information about TBZ's jewelry collections, including diamonds, gold, platinum, gemstones, and other precious metals.
Showcase various designs, explain craftsmanship, quality, and value proposition of each piece.
Guide customers through the selection process, offering personalized recommendations and assisting with fittings and customizations (e.g., ring sizing).
Effectively communicate and explain certification details (e.g., for diamonds).
Answer customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Utilize effective selling and negotiation techniques to close sales and achieve individual and showroom sales targets.
Actively promote and cross-sell/upsell complementary products, services, and offers (e.g., extended warranties, maintenance plans).
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including processing payments (cash, card, installments) and preparing invoices.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:
Maintain up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of TBZ's entire jewelry inventory, new collections, and promotional schemes.
Stay informed about current trends, designs, and market dynamics in the jewelry industry.
Continuously enhance knowledge of different cuts, clarity, color, and carat of diamonds, as well as characteristics of various gemstones and precious metals.
Showroom Operations & Merchandising:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment, ensuring displays are always immaculate and well-stocked.
Assist with inventory management, including stock checks, receiving new merchandise, and arranging displays according to visual merchandising guidelines.
Adhere strictly to security procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of the showroom and merchandise.
Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures as required.
Assist in setting up and dismantling promotional displays for events.
Relationship Building & Clientele Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Capture and maintain accurate customer data for clienteling purposes.
Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure satisfaction, offer ongoing assistance, and inform them about new arrivals or special offers.
Actively build a network of potential clients and generate referrals.
Brand Representation & Professionalism:
Represent the TBZ brand with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and passion for fine jewelry.
Adhere to TBZ's dress code and grooming standards.
Participate in promotional events, marketing activities, and training sessions as required.
Collaborate effectively with team members and management to achieve collective goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum 12th Pass; a Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry, luxury goods, or high-end fashion industry. Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a strong aptitude for sales may be considered for an Associate role.
