Job Title: Counter Sales Coordinator
Job Summary:
A Counter Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, handling inquiries, processing sales, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. This role combines customer service, sales support, and basic administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend to walk-in customers and understand their requirements
Provide product information, pricing, and availability
Generate quotations, invoices, and bills
Handle cash, card, and digital payments
Coordinate with the warehouse or stock team for product availability
Maintain records of sales, orders, and customer details
Follow up on pending orders and customer inquiries
Ensure proper display and organization of products at the counter
Resolve basic customer complaints or escalate when needed
Support the sales team in achieving daily and monthly targets
Required Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of billing software or POS systems
Strong customer handling ability
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications:
Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred
Experience: 0–2 years in retail or counter sales (preferred but not mandatory)
Work Environment:
Retail stores, showrooms, or wholesale counters
May require standing for long hours
Rotational shifts depending on business hours
