Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchases

  • Scan goods and ensure pricing accuracy

  • Process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, gift vouchers)

  • Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or credits

  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts

  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints

  • Bag, box, or wrap packages

  • Assist with inventory checks and restocking shelves when needed

  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling
