Key Responsibilities

Process Transactions: Scan items, apply discounts and coupons, and process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets).
Customer Service: Greet shoppers, answer product location questions, and resolve complaints or process returns and exchanges.
Cash Handling: Count the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, maintain a balanced register, and generate transaction reports.
Store Upkeep: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies like receipt paper and bags.
Loss Prevention: Follow store security policies to prevent theft and adhere to regulations regarding the sale of age-restricted items. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
