Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automobile Evaluator to inspect and assess the condition of pre-owned vehicles for accurate valuation and resale. The role involves conducting technical evaluations, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring all vehicles meet company quality standards before being listed for sale or exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspection of pre-owned vehicles (engine, transmission, body condition, electrical systems, etc.).

  • Test-drive vehicles to check performance and identify issues.

  • Use valuation tools and market trends to determine fair pricing of vehicles.

  • Document findings and prepare detailed evaluation reports.

  • Identify accidental damage, structural issues, and modifications.

  • Check service history, RC, insurance, and other documents for authenticity.

  • Ensure vehicles meet company quality guidelines before purchase or sale.

  • Coordinate with sales team to finalize valuation and negotiate with customers.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of automobile technology and used car market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 1–3 years of experience in vehicle inspection/evaluation (used car segment preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.

  • Familiarity with valuation tools (OBV, Droom, etc.) and market pricing trends.

  • Attention to detail and ability to detect hidden defects or accidental repairs.

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

  • Valid driving license is mandatory.
