Job Title: Assistant Store Manager (ASM)

Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service in a grocery retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily store operations.

• Supervise floor staff, cashiers, and other store associates.

• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and product displays.

• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and labeling of products.

• Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

• Support sales targets and promotional activities.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance in the store.

• Prepare basic operational and sales reports as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum education: Graduate preferred.

• Prior experience in retail grocery operations.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of inventory and store operations.

Working Hours: As per store schedule (may include weekends and holidays).
