Retail Sales Assistant Store Incharge

We are looking for a hands-on, energetic and sales-driven Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day operations of Bubbles Toys and drive store sales.

The ideal candidate should be confident with customers, excellent at sales conversion and negotiation, and capable of motivating the sales team to achieve daily and monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive daily store sales, conversion, average bill value and product per bill.

• Personally handle important customers and close high-value sales.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend the right toys/products.

• Upsell and cross-sell across toys, battery ride-ons, stationery, kawaii, infant products and return gifts.

• Handle customer negotiations while protecting store margins.

• Train, monitor and motivate sales staff on the floor.

• Ensure excellent customer experience and encourage repeat purchases.

• Maintain attractive visual merchandising and product displays.

• Monitor stock, fast/slow-moving products and replenishment requirements.

• Ensure store hygiene, discipline and operational standards.

• Encourage genuine Google reviews and build customer relationships.

• Maintain daily sales reports and communicate performance, customer feedback and issues to the Store Manager/Founder.

• Take ownership of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Skills Required

• Strong sales and customer-handling skills.

• Excellent communication and convincing ability.

• Good negotiation and objection-handling skills.

• Leadership and team-management ability.

• Target-oriented and comfortable working with sales KPIs.

• Good product-learning ability.

• Basic computer/POS and reporting skills.

• Retail experience preferred, especially in toys, fashion, lifestyle, kids or consumer retail.

  What We Look For

  Not just a counter salesperson. We need someone who can actively approach customers, understand their needs, demonstrate products, handle objections and close the sale.

  The ASM should take ownership of the store’s sales, customers and team performance.
