Job Description

Job Title: Refrigeration Mechanic (Manufacturing & Site Installation)

Location: Navi Mumbai
Site Work: Local & International Travel Required

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic with hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, and site installation of refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, be comfortable working on-site, and be capable of handling installations independently.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Assembly

Assembly of refrigeration systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, piping, etc.
Copper piping, brazing, and leak testing
Gas charging, vacuuming, and system commissioning
Reading and understanding technical drawings and layouts
Ensuring quality standards during fabrication and assembly

Site Installation & Commissioning

Installation of refrigeration and HVAC systems at client sites
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation
System testing, performance checks, and final commissioning
Coordinating with project engineers and clients on-site
Handling breakdowns and service requirements if needed

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and components
Hands-on experience with tools, brazing, vacuum pumps, gauges, etc.
Ability to read technical drawings and piping schematics
Experience in gas charging and system diagnostics
Basic understanding of safety practices and site protocols

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

Basic electrical wiring knowledge (control panels, sensors, connections)
Experience with industrial refrigeration or specialized systems
Exposure to international site work

Candidate Profile

ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or relevant field
3–8 years of practical experience
Willingness to travel (India & International)
Physically fit for site work
Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently
