An HVAC Trainer is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems to students, diploma holders, or working professionals. The trainer ensures students gain hands-on skills, industry knowledge, and job-ready competencies.
Deliver classroom and practical HVAC training sessions
Teach fundamentals of refrigeration cycle, air conditioning systems, and ventilation design
Demonstrate installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures
Train students on tools, gauges, and testing equipment
Explain load calculations, duct design, and system sizing
Provide training on split AC, VRF, chillers, and central AC systems
Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assignments
Conduct assessments and practical exams
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Technology
3–5 years of practical HVAC field experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles and HVAC systems
Ability to teach both theory and practical sessions
Good communication and presentation skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, AutoCAD is a plus)
