Job Description

Main duties

Installation:
Fitting new AC units (split, window, central AC) and connecting electrical wiring, piping, and drainage.
Maintenance (servicing):
Regular cleaning of filters and coils, checking refrigerant (gas) levels, and ensuring the system runs efficiently.
Repair work:
Finding and fixing problems like poor cooling, gas leakage, water leakage, compressor issues, or electrical faults.
Inspection & testing:
Checking whether the AC is working properly after service or repair and ensuring safety standards.
Customer interaction:
Explaining issues, giving maintenance advice, and sometimes suggesting replacements or upgrades.

Skills required

Basic electrical knowledge
Understanding of refrigeration and cooling systems
Troubleshooting ability
Use of tools like gauges, multimeters, vacuum pumps
Physical stamina (climbing, lifting, outdoor work)
