Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service while following all safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, chillers, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
Inspect HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and electrical controls.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Test HVAC systems after installation or repair to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls when required.
Follow company safety policies and industry regulations.
Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned work efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
0–6 years of experience as an HVAC Technician (experience requirement can be adjusted).
Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to use testing and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
Knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and ducting.
Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors.
Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or on-call shifts if required.
