Job Summary
K2 Engineering Services is looking for a skilled HVAC Technician experienced in Water Cooled and Air Cooled Chiller systems. The technician will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, descaling, and pressure testing of HVAC systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, operation, and maintenance of Water Cooled and Air Cooled Chillers.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
Carry out chemical descaling of condenser tubes and heat exchangers through chemical circulation.
Perform opening of end covers, tube brushing, flushing, and cleaning of condenser tubes.
Conduct pressure testing of condenser and chilled water pipelines to check for leaks and system integrity.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and control systems.
Monitor and maintain system pressure, temperature, and refrigerant levels.
Maintain cooling towers, chilled water pumps, valves, and piping systems.
Perform refrigerant leak detection, vacuuming, and gas charging.
Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation after completion of work.
Ensure safety compliance, proper handling of chemicals, refrigerants, and tools.
Coordinate with supervisors and clients for maintenance schedules and emergency breakdown support.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Chiller Plant Operation (Water Cooled & Air Cooled).
Experience in chemical descaling of condensers and heat exchangers.
Knowledge of pressure testing procedures and leak detection.
Understanding of refrigeration cycle and HVAC control systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and system diagrams.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Mechanical Engineering
Experience
2–5 years experience in HVAC and Chiller maintenance
Experience in centralized HVAC systems and chiller plants preferred
Additional Requirements
Ability to handle site work and emergency breakdown calls
Basic report writing and documentation skills
Willingness to travel to project sites if required
