HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and layouts for HVAC systems using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D HVAC system drawings, layouts, and schematics.

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other drafters to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with overall building plans.

• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineering teams or changes in project scope.

• Maintain accurate documentation and version control of drawings.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

• calculating duct and pipe sizes, load capacities, and airflow requirements.

• Conduct site visits, when necessary, to gather information or verify dimensions.

• Collaborate with the project team to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Familiarity with ISHRAE/ASHRAE standards and local building codes.
