HVAC Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in troubleshooting systems, ensuring optimal functionality, and complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.

• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues, including electrical and mechanical faults.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Calibrate thermostats and other system controls.

• Monitor system performance and adjust settings for optimal energy efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and regulations.

• Maintain inventory of supplies and request materials as needed.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients or team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or a related field.

• Proven experience (1+ years preferred) as an HVAC technician.

• Valid HVAC certification/license (if required by state/country regulations).

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

• Knowledge of HVAC safety standards and procedures.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and diagnostics.
