Job Title Cold Room Technician
Job Purpose
Install, commission, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Ductable/ VRV/VRF/Chiller/Cold Room and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Install Ductable/ VRV/VRF/Chiller/Cold Room and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.
• Conduct pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and leak testing.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Ensure safe working practices and proper use of PPE.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills
• Refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting.
• Refrigerant handling and charging.
• Reading electrical and piping drawings.
• Use of testing instruments and service tools.
• Problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service.
Qualification
• ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Working Conditions
• Field service at customer locations.
• Travel and emergency call-outs as required.
• Work in cold and freezer environments while following all safety procedures.
