Key Responsibilities
Installation & Setup: Installing new AC units, including window, split, and central systems, according to specifications.
Maintenance & Cleaning: Performing routine service checks, cleaning coils, changing filters, and ensuring system efficiency.
Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, replacing faulty components, and identifying refrigerant leaks.
Testing & Safety: Recharging systems, inspecting, and testing components (compressor, fan, blower, condenser) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Customer Service & Documentation: Explaining repairs to clients, providing estimates, and keeping accurate records of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited HVAC program preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in HVAC or AC repair is commonly required.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
