AC Technician

*Key Responsibilities:*

Install single-phase air conditioning units according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in single-phase AC systems.

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioners to ensure optimal performance.

Replace faulty parts such as capacitors, compressors, motors, and thermostats.

Inspect electrical wiring and connections to ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes.

Test and measure electrical parameters using tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used.

Provide customers with guidance on proper use and maintenance of their AC units.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards at all times.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and repair techniques in HVAC systems.

*Required Skills and Qualifications:*

Proven experience as an AC technician with a focus on single-phase systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and components in single-phase AC units.

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Physical ability to handle tools, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Relevant certifications or diploma in HVAC or electrical engineering preferred.
