Supervisor

We are looking for a HR/Manpower Supervisor to join our team in Keonjhar, Odisha. The role will be responsible for managing local manpower, hiring replacements for labour requirements, handling employee grievances, issuing offer letters, maintaining attendance and supporting day-to-day HR activities. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹22,000 - ₹25,000 and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hire and coordinate replacements for local labour requirements.

• Manage day-to-day manpower and workforce activities at the plant.

• Handle employee grievances and resolve workforce-related issues.

• Prepare and issue offer letters and joining documents.

• Maintain daily attendance and employee records.

• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors and plant management.

• Ensure smooth workforce deployment and address absenteeism/replacement requirements.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate with 1 - 6+ years of experience in HR, manpower handling, plant HR, personnel management or a similar role. Candidates with experience in steel, manufacturing, mining or other labour-intensive industries will be preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to handle local labour/workforce are essential. Knowledge of the local language (Odia) and local area will be an advantage. Candidates must be open to working 6 days a week.
