1. Payroll Processing
Manage end-to-end payroll for all employees (on-roll and off-roll, if applicable).
Collect, verify, and process attendance, leave, and overtime data.
Calculate salaries, incentives, reimbursements, and other allowances.
Ensure accurate computation of statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
Coordinate with the Finance department for salary disbursement and reconciliation.
2. Compliance & Statutory Management
Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, LWF, etc.).
Prepare and file statutory returns on time.
Liaise with government authorities and auditors during inspections or audits.
3. Employee Data & Documentation
Maintain and update employee master data in payroll software and HRMS.
Handle full & final settlement (F&F) for separated employees, including leave encashment and deductions.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data and records.
4. Reporting & MIS
Generate monthly payroll reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
Support HR and finance teams with payroll-related reports for budgeting and audits.
5. Process Improvement
Support automation initiatives in payroll processing and documentation.
Continuously review payroll policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in payroll/HRMS software.
Good understanding of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or HR (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
2–5 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
Experience in a mid-sized or large organization (real estate or construction industry preferred).
